Sun Chong's air is just as special as its twin other dimension. Motifs are a stylistic ornate combination of modern Korean design and old world New Orleans's architecture. The restaurant is noisy as loud music tilts the atmosphere for clashing with the liveliness and elegance of the place. Sun Chong guests may sit at the bar enjoying innovative cocktails, or at the table when they share small bites, but here they travel vicariously. The man who does it all in the kitchen is the Chef Morrow himself thats a mix of his French training and Korean heritage. A group of chefs, with the head coach, understood the principle of combined flavors as a whole of the dish. The complete service of the educated staff plus the exquisite cuisine is all for creating a warm atmosphere.

About Sun Chong

Sun Chong is an energetic and blended Korean-Cajun restaurant that is located at the epicenter of one of the most remarkable historical and cultural districts of New Orleans, the French Quarter. Sun Chong, a Brandon Morrow's restaurant vision where the soul of Korean cuisine, which has a unique bold-taste and traditional vibrant dishes, is blended with the cooking art of Louisiana. The menu is a beautiful reflection of the combination of the two cuisines. The menu feature here is bulgogi Brussels sprouts that works well to the charred Brussels sprout leaves. The "Fish in the Boat" means fried red snapper cut in bite-sized pieces, cooked the traditional way in a Korean brass pot. By me, personally, the crab Rangoon dip, spicy seafood ramen pasta, and precisely the crawfish po’boy Korean style appeals me the most.
